I hope you are all doing well, friends!! The last few months have absolutely flown by. We shot the music video for my first single "Barn on the Rooftop" throughout the city and outskirts of Nashville about 4 weeks ago. I've been rehearsing with the band several days a week to gear up for the tour. Been working out religiously...trying to set aside the bacon cheese burgers I loved so much for something just slightly more healthy. The video shoot was a great experience! The men and women at Gamma Blast couldn't have been any better to work with. We started out the morning greeting the extras and setting up for the stage shots from in the loft of a barn in Franklin, TN. It was hot. Then after everyone was comfortably packed in, they turned on the lights and we all started to melt. The make-up artist had to stand on the side with a towel and cover-up just to get through a verse and chorus! haha Hanging out with the extras and directors, producers and grips.....I couldn't have been more humbled in that second. For that day I was surrounded by people with great attitudes...despite the heat and long day, because they were all getting to do what they loved to do that day. Definitely can't wait for you all to see the final product.....and the great people from the Daily Buzz flew in from Orlando and are in some of the scenes too!

 Once we finished the video, it was time to get the band together and start rehearsing to gear up forthe tour. We're going to be playing some shows soon, and we want to be as tight as we can. The first rehearsal went great, and I have to take my hat off to all of the players, because they are incredibly talented and dedicated to their craft. Watching them get together and work out the parts, and trying new versions of the songs really keeps me motivated and focused. We all want this to work, we also know how many other talented artists and musicians there are out there...so I think we came to an understanding. We're going to do it our way, the best way we know how. Its going to be loud, we're going to bring the entertainment, and hope to bring a great show every time they let us on the stage. We want people to walk out of every show if nothing else.....thinking to themselves "That was fun." Because I assure you we will be!

On a more personal note, in between working, I wanted to share some news...my grandfather passed away. I was making short trips home to see him and for the funeral. There were so many people that showed up to that little town we all called home, and I wanted to say thank you to fans/friends/ and family, thank you for your kind words. My family couldn't be more humbled that so many people who didn't even know him personally...knew of him and passed on their condolences. Thank you to everyone for your kindness. My grandfather was a great man, and we will all continue to follow his tradition of living each day to the fullest with love in our hearts. God bless!
