Happy February Friends!

Six more weeks of winter! Bring it on! Who wants to build a snowman with me?

My folks came into town for the weekend.  They were welcomed by the first real snowfall of the year.  Some of you may have seen the pictures!  It was great having them in town, even if it was only for a few days.  I haven't forgotten about how amazing my Mom’s home cooking is, but it’s nice every now and then to have a refresher course!  During the snowfall, I had a lot of time to write and relax. It was tough to venture out too much because the location of my home is on the top of a hill.  I love home because of the view but when the snow then turned to ice the road up and down became impossible to navigate.  The ride down the hill is fun but going up the hill was like in Mario Cart on the Ice Course: the go carts just spin around. And around!    

Needless to say I chose to stay in most of the weekend.  After laying down some work tapes, I sat down with my neighbors to watch the Grammys.  I thought it was a great show!  Country music was well-represented and all of the artists put on an amazing show!  What did you guys think? I switched back and forth between the Grammys and the Pro Bowl. Now we are in a new week. The snow is gone and now it's sunny again. Winters in Tennessee are the best!

  So I just wanted to write a quick note to say hello and to check in on the best fans in the world and see how ya'll are doing!  As usual, thank you all for your undeniable support of the music!  My entire team and I are really excited for the possibilities of this year!  I am seriously tapping my foot all day everyday just waiting for the green light to get out there and meet all of you at a show!  I promise it is not far off, but we are doing all we can to make sure that everything is the best it possibly can be for you.  I know how tough it is these days to even contemplate spending hard earned money on a concert ticket so my team and I are taking it upon ourselves to make sure we put on the BEST SHOW POSSIBLE, because you guys deserve it!  I'm truly blessed to be surrounded by the talent of my entire team, friends, family and fans....it is a wonderful responsibility I have to be the best entertainer and man I can be for everyone who has believed in me from day one.  This is going to be a great ride and from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for being a part of it!!!!!!!   It honestly wouldn't be any fun without you all!  Hope you have a great rest of the week and I will talk to you guys later, probably on Facebook, Myspace and Twitter tonight! 

Peace and be good to each other out there! But stop to build a snowman every once in a while!
