Merry Christmas one and all!  This seriously is my favorite time of year.  Traveling around, malls packed, lights up, egg-nog down......kids, snow......yes, snow!  Living here in Music City over the years, I've had the opportunity to spend the holidays with friends and family here in Nashville.  However, as much as I love this city at Christmas, this year I've decided I really want to be able to look out my window on Christmas morning and see snow. Just mountains and mountains of snow. 

So this is my end of the year, thank you/ Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year and just plain Happy Holidays card to you. To all of my family, friends and fans who have been Rock Stars this year in your support of the music!  I promise we will continue to work even harder next year!  “Barn on the Rooftop” is at radio now and the “Barn on the Rooftop” music video is up on my website for easy access.

From the first part of our Radio Tour and all the incredible new friends I've made on the road this year, I just have to start with a huge thank you!  Also to my second family at Cherry Heart Music, thank you!  They are the ones who are making it possible for me to chase this dream and a whole bunch of other people!  I was talking to one of my friends the other night, and we were saying how crazy it is to look back a year and see how many people are now a part of this team. These people work so hard every day and I take my hat off to them for doing such an amazing job!  If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be able to make a living doing what we love. 

I truly am blessed right now in my life, and all I wish is the same for all of you out there!  I wish you a safe holiday, one with your friends/ family. I wish you nothing but a sense of peace during these holidays.  I know how easy it is to lose direction or feel alone this time of year but that is what Chevy Chase and Christmas vacation is for! 

More than anything I think that my goal, and you are all more than welcome to join in on this adventure if you like…so I think it should be OUR goal…to love and laugh more than anything else this Christmas.  Remember it's people that matter, ya know?  Whether you have lots of presents under the tree this year or have nothing more than people you love around you, enjoy the moment. 

OK, enough preaching guys, I'm sorry.  Like I said earlier, I have chosen to leave the magic and beauty of the Music City behind this year and go HOME. Home. There is a word I haven't said in a long time.  Where I'll be this Christmas will be the best one yet, I just have a feeling. 

I will see many of you over the holidays, and we will keep in touch via Facebook/ Twitter over Christmas just because I like ya'll a lot and it would be so lonely not to share our first holiday together! You all are the best, the most devoted fans I could ever ask for!   God bless you all! Be safe! Make sure not to leave the dog behind after you go upstairs or else Santa ain't getting’ cookies this year.  See you all for what should be the best New Year ever!
